Tumblr is my release when the rest of the world has their eyes and ears closed to the things that need to be said. I hope to change the world, it might seem unrealistic, but I don't see my options.

There are many forms of activism, but I for one can whole heartedly say I consider social networking a very important starting point. People always say ‘its just facebook’ or ‘its just tumblr’, but if the internet is so unimportant, why is everyone on here for hours every day?

Facebook and tumblr are a gateway into peoples lives and actions. Iv been vegan for 3 months, iv been vocal and iv lost friends. But I have had such an amazing amount of people come to me for advice to help them go vegan, often through facebook and tumblr. People who might not have known where else to go.

Never be silent. Let people know you’re here and you’re vegan and let them know why. Not everyone will take something from it. But someone will.

It’s the easiest form of activism that is actually effective. It’s the least we can do.
